How Can We Help?
The beat counter doesn’t correspond to time base.
It means there is a technical problem :
The rectangle is filled while reading main loop (mother loop). We call it time base.
The beats and ticks data correspond to MIDI clock.
When the program is running, while the rectangle is filled, a number of beats corresponding to metrics (choose metrics button) will be generaterated, as 24 ticks for each beat.
Problems :
- The rectangle doesn’t move :
Audio is not running. Click on the mic button to switch audio on, then on big init.
If nothing change, go to setup page, or watch tutorial 2 . Lagvoid might have crashed because of wrong kind of driver. Stick to “ad_mme”, or the ASIO driver dedicated ti your hardware (no ASIO4all). - The rectangle doesn’t correpond to beat count :
If you set a fast tempo, your computer may not be able to generate every Midiclock ticks. In order to avoid clock drift or sequencer crash, the Midiclock generator reaches a upper limit that correspond to your computer processing power. To solve this problem, verify in setup that Signal Vector Size is not set to 1, increase I/O Vector Size, or half your tempo by doubling metrics.
